To find your acquiring support number, please press on settings and then support, followed by acquiring support, where you will find your acquirer and merchant ID
How to change between light and dark mode
To change between light and dark mode on the Box app, press on settings and then appearance, where you will be able to choose your preferred option. The app is naturally set on dark mode, if you wish to return to this then click on Appearance and dark or device settings.
How to create a payment link
Click on the create payment link button and then fill in the reference for your records, the amount for the payment link, then choose if you’d rather send the payment link as an email or SMS. Fill in their email address or phone number based on your choice and then click on create payment link, then click on yes, send link.
How to find your hardware support contact
Click on settings bottom right and then click on support, followed by hardware support. Here you will find key information such as a phoneline to call or an email you can reach out to, as well as your merchant ID.
Before you contact, make sure to read through the support information.
How to view payment links
To view your payment links, click on links at the bottom and then click on a payment link. You will now see when it was created, a reference, the phone number or email and the total amount. From here, you can resend the link or make an edit.
Logging in to the Box app
To login to the Box app, please enter your merchant ID, followed by your email address and your password. If you don’t remember your password, click on ‘forgot your password’ and you will be sent an email with a password reset.
Once you have entered your details and clicked login, you will be taken through to your dashboard.
How to filter your payment links
To filter your payment links on the box app, please press on links at the bottom and then at the top you have a number of filtering options, such as by date range, which is automatically set to all time. You can also filter by status, whether it’s created, sent, paid or refunded. At the top right you can click on reset to return to the original settings.
How to view your transactions
Please click on transactions at the bottom, where you will see a full list of every transaction. If you click on one, it will show details such as the amount, the date of the transaction, the source and with which device.
How to filter your transactions on the mobile app
To filter your transactions on the Box app, click on transactions at the bottom and then at the top you have a number of filtering options, such as by date range. This can be set for today, yesterday, this year or a custom range of your choice.
You can also filter by source, such as whether it’s from a POS, a virtual terminal or a custom payment. Plus you can filter by type, status, scheme, pan, device or reference.
